Islam and Swadhya  2 (Gary Miller)

In 1977, Professor Gary Miller, an active Canadian preacher of Christianity   decided to provide a great service to Christianity through exposing scientific and historical errors in the Noble Qur’an in such a way that would be beneficial to him and his fellow preachers in calling Muslims to Christianity.

 However, the result was completely to the contrary.

 He considered the Noble Qur’an, as it should be and reached the conclusion that it cannot be a work of a human being.

The first surprising issue for Professor Miller was the challenging tone in many verses of the Qur’an such as

Will they not then ponder on the Qur’an? If it had been from other than Allah they would have found therein much incongruity.( Quran  4. 82)

Although Professor Miller was challenging at the beginning, he ended astonished at what he found.

 The following are some of the points he mentioned in Miller’s lecture “The Amazing Qur’an”:

Noble Qur’an tells the reader that there are no errors in it and then challenges all people to find any, if any.

The Noble Qur’an does not mention the hard events in Prophet Muhammad’s personal life, such as the death of his dear wife  Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her), death of his daughters and sons.

Strangely enough, the verses that were revealed as a comment on some of the setbacks proclaimed victory while those revealed at time of victory warned against arrogance and called for more sacrifices and efforts.

If one writes his own autobiography, he would magnify the victories and justify the defeats.

it is not a history of a specific period but rather a text that sets general rules for the relationship between Allah (the Almighty) and worshippers.

. There is a surah in the Noble Qur’an called Maryam (Mary) in which  Maryam (may Allah be pleased with her) mother of Jesus Christ  is eulogized in a way not even found in the Bible.

 There is no surah in the name of  `Ayisha (may Allah be pleased with her) wife of Prophet or  Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) daughter of Prophet

The name of prophet Isa (peace be upon him) (Jesus) is mentioned 25 times in the Noble Qur’an while the name of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is mentioned only five times.

Abu Lahab was a  close relative of Prophet . He and his wife turned to be the worst enemies of Islam. They systematically planned and tortured Prophet by words and deeds .

When this atrocity  went to unbearable level Sura Al Masad was revealed cursing Abu Lahab anf his wife with a ignoble death and punishment  . In the whole Quran it is the one and only Surah wherein an individual is cursed by name

Abu Lahab and his wife lived for ten years after this surah was revealed

.Had they turned believers in these ten years Quran would have been proved to be false .

 However, they did not believe or even pretend to believe.  

This clearly proves that the Noble Qur’an was Almighty’s revelation

In 1978 Professor Miller embraced Islam and called himself Abdul-Ahad.

எதிரும் புதிரும்

அரபு, உருது போன்ற மொழிகள் வலமிருந்து இடமாக எழுதப்படுகின்றன

.இசுலாமியர்கள் சற்று மாறுபட்டவர்கள் என்பதை இது சுட்டிக்காண்பிக்கிறது என்று கிண்டல் செய்பவர்களும் உண்டு

இப்படி வலமிருந்து  இடமாக எழுதுவதுதான் சரியான முறை,இயல்பான முறை  என்று எழுத்தாளர் சுஜாதா குறிப்பிடுகிறார்

இது போன்ற மாறுபாடான செயல் முறைகள், பழக்க வழக்கங்கள் என்னிடம் பல உண்டு என்று பிறர்  சொல்லித் தெரிந்து கொண்டேன்

எண் எட்டை (8) நான் தலை கீழாக எழுதுவதாய் வங்கியில் பலரும் சொல்லித்தான் எனக்கு  தெரிந்தது .சரி செய்ய முயற்சித்தேன் முடியவில்லை

எட்டை எப்படி எழுதினாலும் எட்டுத்தானே வரும்

விரலால் எண்ணும்போது பொதுவாக எல்லோரும் விரல்களை ஒவ்வொன்றாக விரித்து எண்ணுவார்களாம்

நானோ விரலை மடக்கி எண்ணுவேன். இதுவும் பிறர் சொல்லித்தான் எனக்குத் தெரியும்

இதற்கெல்லாம் காரணம் என்ன என்று தெரியவில்லை

குளித்துவிட்டு தலைக்கு எண்ணெய் தேய்க்கும் பொதுப் பழக்கத்துக்கு மாறாக நான் எண்ணெய் தேய்த்துப் பின்தான் குளிப்பேன்.

இதற்கு சொல்லிக்கொள்ள  ஒரு காரணம் இருக்கிறது .எண்ணெய் தேய்த்தபின் குளித்தால் தண்ணீரின் குளுமையை எண்ணெய் தாங்கிக்கொண்டு தலையைக் காப்பாற்றுமாம் . இது பின்னால் நான் கேள்விப்பட்டது , இதற்காகத்தான் இந்தப் பழக்கத்தை கடைப்பிடிக்கிறேனா என்பது தெரியவில்லை

நான் தூங்குபோது தலையணை பயன்படுத்துவது கிடையாது.  இதனால் உடல் நலம் குறிப்பாக கண் பார்வை பாதுகாக்கப்படும் என்று எதிலோ படித்துத்தான்  இதைச் செய்கிறேன்

செல் பேசி பயன்படுத்தத்துவங்கும் வரை கையில் கடிகாரம் கட்டிக்கொண்டுதான் தூங்குவேன்.

இரவில் படுக்குமுன் பல்விளக்குவதால் பலரின் கேலிக்கு ஆளாயிருக்கிறேன்

சட்டையும் கைலியும் போடும்போது சட்டையைக் கைலிக்குள் விட்டுக்கொள்வேன்

வெறும் வயிற்றில்தான்  வாழைப்பழம் சாப்பிடுவேன் . இது அண்மையில் நான் அறிந்த உடல் நலம் சார்ந்த பழக்கம்

தட்டில் சோறு கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சமாக வைத்துத்தான் சாப்பிடுவேன். விருந்துகளில் தட்டு அல்லது இலை நிறைய வைத்துவிட்டால் என்னால் சாப்பிடவே முடியாது

இட்டலி ஓன்று இரண்டாக வைத்து சாப்பிடுவேன். தோசை சப்பாத்தி எல்லாம் ஓன்று ஒன்றாக வைத்துதான் சாப்பிடுவேன்.

தோசையை நான் தலை கீழாக வைத்துச் சாப்பிடுவதாய் மற்றவர்கள் சொல்வார்கள் எனக்கோ அதுதான் நேராகத்தெரியும் 

தண்ணீர் குடித்து விட்டுத்தான் சாப்பிடத் துவங்குவேன்

இதெல்லாம் எனக்குத் தெரிந்த ,பிறர் சொல்லி அறிந்த மாறுபாடான பழக்கங்கள்

எனக்கும் தெரியாமல் பிறருக்கும் புலப்படாமல் எத்தனை கிறுக்குத்தனங்கள் என்னிடம் இருக்கிறது எனபது இறைவனுக்குத்தான் தெரியும்

மனித மனதை நான்கு பிரிவுகளாகப் பிரிக்கிறார்கள் உளவியல் அறிஞர்கள் ..

முதல் பகுதி வெள்ளைப் பகுதி உங்களைப்பற்றி உங்களுக்கும் மற்றவர்களுக்கும் தெரிந்த குண நலன்கள் இதில் வரும்

இரண்டும் மூன்றும் சாம்பல் நிறப்பகுதிகள்

இரண்டில் உள்ளது உங்களுக்கு உங்களைப்பற்றித் தெரிந்து மற்றவர்களுக்குத் தெரியாத குணங்கள்

மூன்றாவது மற்றவர்கள் அறிந்த , உங்களுக்குத் தெரியாத உங்களைப்பற்றிய செய்திகள், குணங்கள்

நான்காவது இருண்ட, கருப்புப்பகுதி . உங்களைப்பற்றி உங்களுக்கும் மற்றவர்களுக்கும் தெரியாதவை

சற்று ஆற அமர சிந்தித்துப் பார்த்தால் நம் எல்லோரிடமும் இது போல் நான்கு பிரிவு இருப்பது தெளிவாகும்

அடுத்து எனக்கும் என் குடும்பத்தார்க்கும் உள்ள எதிரும் புதிருமான சில செயல்கள்

வீட்டுக் கூடத்தில் இரண்டு குழல் விளக்குகள் இருக்கின்றன . நான் எப்போதும் கிழக்குப் பக்கத்தில் உள்ள விளக்கைப் போடுவேன் . என் துணைவியோ தவறாமல் மேற்குப்பக்கம் உள்ளதைத்தான் போடுவார்,

படுக்கை அறையில் ஒரு குழல் விளக்கும் ஒரு எல் ஈ டீ விளக்கும் உண்டு .எப்போதும் என் துணைவி போடுவது குழல் விளக்கு , நான் எல் ஈ டீ  

இரு சக்கர வண்டியை வீட்டிலோ அலுவலகத்திலோ நிறுத்தும்போது பக்கத்தாங்கியில் நிறுத்தாமல் நடுத்தாங்கியில் நிறுத்தி எரிபொருளை நிறுத்தி விட்டுத்தான் வருவேன்

இந்தப்பழக்கம் பலரிடம் கிடையாது பலமுறை சொன்னால் பாதி கேட்பார்கள்

பெரும்பாலும் காலையில் குளிக்காமல் எங்கும் போக மாட்டேன் . முடி திருத்திக்கொள்ளத்தான்  குளிக்காமல் போவேன்

(தாடி வைக்கும் வரை) தினமும் முகம் மழித்து விடுவேன் அதுவும் குளித்த பின்தான்

காலையில் நாலு மணிக்கெல்லாம் எழுந்து குளிர்ந்த நீரில் குளிப்பதெல்லாம் மற்றவர்களிடம் எதிர் பார்க்கக்கூடது

வெள்ளிகிழமை தொழுகைக்கு பதினொன்னரை மணிக்கே பரபரப்பாகி விடுவேன்.

பள்ளியில் படிக்கும்போது கால அட்டவணையில் குறிப்பிட்டிருக்கும் வரிசையில் நூல்களை பையில் அடுக்கி வைப்பேன் அதே போல் தேர்வு அட்டவணை வரிசைப்படியும் அடுக்கி வைத்து விடுவேன்

பலரும் எளிதாகச் செய்யும் கைவேலைகள் எனக்கு வராது

.கயிற்றில்  ஒரு இறுக்கமான முடிச்சுப் போடுவது, தாளை சீராகக் கிழிப்பது, நேர்கோடு போடுவது, ஏன் வெள்ளைத்தாளில் நேராக எழுதுவது எல்லாம் எனக்கு மிகச் சிரமமாகத் தோன்றும்

தேர்வுகளில் வெள்ளைத்தாள் கொடுத்தால் அதன் அடியில் ஒரு கோடு போட்ட தாளை வைத்துதான் எழுதுவேன்

நல்ல வேல, இப்போதெல்லாம் பெரும்பாலான தேர்வுகளில் கோடிட்ட தாள் கொடுக்கிறார்கள்

என் கையெழுத்து மிக மிகத் தெளிவில்லாமல் இருக்கும் பல நேரங்களில் என் எழுத்து எனக்கே புரியாது

இப்படி நிறைய குறைகளை வைத்துக்கொண்டு  பள்ளி, கல்லூரியில் படித்து வங்கியில் நாற்பது ஆண்டுப் பணியை நிறைவு செய்து ஓய்வுக்குப்பின் இன்றும் படித்துக்கொண்டு, வெற்றிகரமாக தேர்வுகள் எழுதிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன் என்றால் அது முழுக்க முழுக்க இறைவன் அருள் மட்டுமே

பின் குறிப்பு 

புத்தாண்டில் மீண்டும் எழுத்துப்பணியை தொடர எண்ணுகிறேன் தொடர்ந்து எழுத ஊக்கம் கொடுப்பது நீங்கள் தெரிவிக்கும் கருத்துக்களும் பாராட்டுக்களும்தான்

விலகிய, விலக்கப்பட்ட கட்செவி குழுக்களில் சேர இன்னும் தயக்கமாகவே இருக்கிறது

ராமன் காட்டுக்குப் போனான் என்று எழுதினால் கூட ஷிர்க், ஹராம் என்று சுட்டிக்காட்டும் இசுலாமிய அறிஞர் குழுவுக்கு  நான் தகுதி அற்றவன்

அதேபோல் மகன் பைசல் கட்செவி மூலம் குழுக்களில் நுழைவதும் தவறோ எனத் தோன்றுகிறது

எனவே புத்தாண்டு முதல் முக நூலிலும் வலை நூலிலும் மட்டும் பதிவு செய்ய எண்ணுகிறேன்

இணையம் இல்லாமல் கட்செவி இருக்காது இணையம் இருந்தால் வலை நூலில் எல்லோரும் எளிதாகப் படிக்கலாம் 

.

வலை நூலிலேயே உங்கள் கருத்துக்களையும் பதிவு செய்யலாம்

ஒரு வேளை என் எழுத்துகளைப் படித்து, மற்றவர்களும் படிக்கும் அளவுக்கு சிறப்பாக , தரமாக இருக்கிறது என யாராவது நினைத்தல் அவர்கள் தங்கள் குழுக்களுக்கு அனுப்பி வைக்கலாம் 

இறைவன் நாடினால் புத்தாண்டில்

மிகவும் மாறுபட்ட ஒரு பதிவோடு

சந்திக்கிறேன்

Islam and Swadhya 1

Quran is the Holy Book of Islam .Muslim community as a whole firmly believes that Quran- each and every word of it was revealed by the Almighty

Prophet (PBUH) has the distinction of being a Ummi Nabi- that is he cannot read or write Arabic Perhaps Almighty did not want anybody to claim having tutored the blessed man

Quran was revealed through the words of Prophet (PBUH) when he was in a state of trance

Many many facts are there to establish that Quran was revealed by Almighty.

A few are listed below

Quran is a best literature in Arabic Language. The poetic structure, tone selection and application of words make the reader and listener stunned.

An illiterate msn cannot have created such a beautiful literature

Will they not then ponder on the Qur’an? If it had been from other than Allah they would have found therein much incongruity.( Quran  4. 82)

For the past 14 centuries Quran is preserved without any change in a letter word or even punctuation mark.

About the Holy Quran we shall see

The word Tapas leads one to wild forest where sages are in deep state of meditation oblivious of surroundings

Here we are discussing

Islam and Tapas

Wherein Tapas indicates a simple economically austere life style avoiding wasteful expenses and luxury

Islam has not fixed any standard of living with a minimum or maximum ceiling.. However, it is the basic principle of the economic system of Islam that every citizen of an Islamic state should have at least basic necessaries of life.

Islam generally recommends that one should lead a life of simplicity and austerity

We are taking austerity in the sense of economy, simplicity, plainness, self-denial and self-discipline especially in expenses on living. In other words, austerity here means simple and economical standard of living or life style.

………and be not prodigal. Lo! Allah loveth not the prodigals Quran 6 141)

Prophet (PBUH) and his companions and successors, named in history as Righteous caliphs, are role model for austerity about which pages and pages can be written

Very few examples are given below

Family of Muhammad (PBUH) used to spend     many days continuously    with nothing to cook. Their food was only dates and water   
  

Never had the family of Muhammad (PBUH) eaten to the fill for three successive nights.

When Prophet (PBUH) left this world he was monarch of Arabian Kingdom spreading over many parts of the world. His possessions were only a small quantity of wheat flour, a few dresses and a simple rough bed

His dear daughter Fatima (Rali ) did not inherit even a dwelling house 

Umar, the second Caliph, hailing from a very rich business family    said, “I would be a bad ruler if I were to take nice (and good) things for myself and leave the bad ones for my citizens

Not in words alone but in deed he used to take coarse food only

 Unnatural language

(தமிழ் போல் இயல்பான  மொழி அல்ல) என்பதை ஷா இப்படி வேடிக்கையாகச் சொல்வாராம்

இதற்கான மிகச்  சில எடுத்துக்காட்டுகள்

ஆனால்

என்பது மீனிலிருந்து செய்யப்படும் பயிர்களுக்கான ஒரு உரத்தைக் குறிக்கும்

என்ற சொல்

JUSTICE

என்ற சொல்லின் எதிர்ச்சொல்

ஆனால்

INFLAMMABLE, FLAMMABLE

இரண்டும் எதிர்ச்சொற்கள் அல்ல . ஒரே பொருள் கொண்டவை

BUT- பட்   PUT பட்டல்ல புட்

FOOT - (f)புட்     NOON  நுன் அல்ல நூன்

LEAD – ஒரே சொல்லுக்கு லீட் , லெட் என இரண்டு ஒலிகள்

இருபத்தி ஆறே எழுத்துக்கள், உயிர் எழுத்துக்கள் ஐந்தே ஐந்து

பொருளில், ஒலியில் நிறைய முரண்பாடுகள் கொண்ட மொழி உலகெங்கும் பரவலாகப் பயன்பாட்டில் உள்ளது

கல் தோன்றி மண்தோன்றாக் காலத்து முன் தோன்றி மூத்த செம்மொழி

பனிரெண்டு உயிரெழுத்துக்கள் பதினெட்டு மெய்யெழுத்துக்கள் , பல்லாயிரக்கணக்கான ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பே சொல், பொருள், யாப்பு, அணி இப்படி எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் தெளிவான விதிகளுடன் இலக்கணம் வகுக்கப்பட்ட நம் மொழி

தமிழ் நாட்டிலேயே மெல்ல மறக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது

தனித்தமிழில் எழுத, பேச முயற்சித்தால் அவனை வேறு படுத்திப் பார்க்கும் மன நிலை

 

இந்த நிலையும் மாறும் என நம்புவோம்
