Last month I mentioned about settling scores with a colleague on the day of my retirement

In our controlling office there was one guy who assumed himself as Boss  of the Bank  ,

And he was bossing over everyone. - scant respect for age or seniority -.with arrogance and air of extreme supremacy 

You will be transferred

You will not retire peacefully

These are his favourite slogans to antagonise people

Peaceful retirement will be wish and dream of everyone at the last leg of one’s service.

.There was a widespread practice of suspending   employees on the date of retirement which will lead to untold mental agony torture and financial difficulties.

And threatening with the words “You will not retire peacefully “ is  nothing but a  sort of sadistic  mentality

Always he will be emitting venom in words look and action

One or two  times he has irked me over phone and in person . Even executives have not talked to me like this

I was waiting patiently for my retirement

I had the confidence that by His Grace my retirement would be peaceful.

I thought of telling him face to face

“I have retired peacefully.. Who knows what will be your fate .You have earned the curse and wrath of one and all .

 This will definitely have a telling effect on your life and career “

But Almighty had some other idea of settling the scores

An unexpected turn of events in the controlling office changed

 the position of the arrogant man upside down

He tried to teach discipline to an employee in which he forget himself and crossed his limits.

 He assumed the role of a teacher, police and jailor all in one

His (mis/man) handling the employee was telecast live in local, national and international channels and spread shock waves every nook and corner of the area and ultimately the news reached Head office

.

Head office spontaneously plunged into action.

The arrogant man was virtually   thrown away to a very big branch with all the inherent problems in North East area

 to head the branch

The uncrowned monarch is now dethroned. Vicious snake is now crawling like a worm

No sympathy no support.

No tears no farewell

 No joining time, no leave.

Automatic relief

And it was nothing but a sheer beautiful coincidence that the dethroning happened on the day of my retirement

Thus the score was nicely  settled; natural justice rendered.

And I had no necessity to talk to the arrogant man
