What is the  difference between

Percent and Percentage ?

Very many lengthy meanings and explanations are available  in dictionary and google

I am explaining   with an example

“ I reserve  10 percent of  my income for charity”

“I reserve a small percentage of my income for charity”

Percent always comes with number—10percent and

Percentage with quantity –small percentage

 The words percent and percentage are NOT INTERCHANGABLE
