Friends or Foes?

I had a totally new experience last week in my 8 years social media life- a rather bitter and hurting experience of being expelled from a FB group without any reason or justification or even intimation .

Ironically the group is Canara Bank Retirees and Friends.

The expulsion went to the level of out casting -  I have been  banned from even viewing the group

What lead to the expulsion?

Is it in isolated incident or culmination of a few incidents  over the time ?

Let me detail it out

A few months back I had a peculiar, out of contest remark for my posting

My posting was

“Meagre family pension is a crime against women “

The remark was

“Who is this jehadi with four wives ?”

I thought the remark was by one who is not all right, any how I complained to admin and got the message deleted

Next after a gap of one month or so

I posted in the group  a FB memory-  Islamic prayer  and Yogasanas

For this one gentle remarked – see how each letter and word is picked and chosen  and mixed with hatred and poison and aimed at hurting me

“Why your posting – anybody asked for you – keep all these things with you please .Nobody wants these –first you become Indian and good human “

This also was removed after my complaining

I also wrote to admin to avoid hate messages

And finally last  month I found a few of my postings not published in the group . I wrote to admin asking for reason. A reply came only Hindi and English postings will be published

Just a week before that my Tamil posting was published in the group. So again I posed a question- from when this language restriction came into effect

The reply I got was

Expulsion from the group with ban on my viewing the group

A really friendly group!!!

Admin has the right to form and impose any rule and restriction

But I deserve a reasonable explanation for my expulsion

Otherwise I have to take it as a partisan  attitude
