I felt a bit intrigued while reading the sentence

An ASHA, an auto and a yen for service.

For, the only meaning known to me for yen – Japan currency in no way fits into this sentence

Then I went through dictionary and found that the word yen has another meaning “A strong feeling of wanting or wishing for something.
