I came across the word SHIN in Towards understanding Quran Verse 68:42 explanatory note 24 - a new word to me

I found the meaning for the word SHIN as

Front portion of the leg between knees and ankles.

This I put in question form

,

I got the answer I had in mind (Shin) from only one person

Four others replied as Crus – again a new word to me

After a lengthy search I found the meaning of the word as

The part of the leg or hind limb between the knee and the ankle shank

Crus  is of  Latin origin

So I take both answers Shin and Crus as correct
